Crossroads Cafe Photos

Auditorium dancers -- These fabulous bronze square dancers adorn the entrance to the Asheville Civic Center, where Cathryn gave her speech.

The bronze pigs -- These life-sized bronze porkers can be seen at Vance Square, one of downtown Asheville's most popular areas. Definitely one of Thomas and Cathryn's favorite dining and shopping sites.

The Crossroads plaque -- To understand the bronze pigs (and the nearby bronze turkeys!) at Vance Square, you have to know that in pioneer times Asheville was a key point on the routes used by livestock drovers -- including Cathryn's rakish forebear, Bartram Jefferson, legendary for his goat herds and multiple wives.
